Vooropgesteld: we willen heel graag open! Het is alleen afhankelijk van een aantal zaken. Vrijdag hebben we het protocol gekregen van de Zwembadbranche (o.a. de KNZB). Dit protocol moeten wij omvormen tot een protocol dat specifiek op het Amstelbad gericht is. Daarna moet de gemeente het goedkeuren.
Maar daarmee zijn we er niet, het moet ook financieel mogelijk zijn. We missen immers heel veel inkomsten nu het seizoen korter wordt en daarnaast mogen er ook veel minder zwemmers komen. We hebben de gemeente gevraagd om ons hierin te ondersteunen.
Hartverwarmend zijn jullie donaties en vele (!) abonnementsaankopen, ondanks de omstandigheden! Dagelijks komen er nieuwe aanvragen binnen. Het is heel fijn om te weten dat ons dorp het zwembad weer op handen draagt! Dank hiervoor!
